Archival print on acid free paper
In the summer of 2015 I took a trip to Bologna, Italy to research a well known early baroque painter Il Guercino. My family has long been in possession of one of his paintings and the trip was an early attempt to obtain attribution for the painting from reliable sources. Il Guercino hails from Bologna where he had a large workshop and completed most of his work. I stayed at a small hotel named after the painter and upon arrival in Bologna found this joyful scene in the courtyard of the hotel. At first I thought it was a wedding celebration or a national holiday. As it turned out it was just an ordinary Bolognese evening made particularly lively by the unusually high temperatures of the recent heat wave. Perfect summer fun and life in its infinite dance of sound and color!
The fine art prints come in two sizes and are produced on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting. Offer ends December 23rd.
